idk why but i find the stark contrast in energy between childe's portrait and in-game model hilarious
The background of this piece is made up of a lot of subtle changes in value. This makes the background seem like it's being hidden by sheets of rain. But the foreground values are dark on Langstonia, its values clash with those of the background, creating contrast. (4/10)
Value is a big part of what we're talking about when we're looking at contrast. Placing two very different values next to one another creates high contrast. Putting two similar values together creates low contrast.(2/10)

@jaap_null @Edenwaith has also tried some code to automate the CGA16 palette, with mixed results as well! My process is usually increasing saturation and contrast, making the resolution lower, forcing the palette to CGA16, and then doing a lot of work by hand!
