Hey hey, #VisibleWomen day!!
I'm Jenn Lee and I pencil hot-as-heck comic @TheRisingSand, co-created with my awesome partner @glitchritual! You can read it for free over at https://t.co/1f1BIY585r! I also sometimes illustrate kids' books and hunt for fossils!
What role do teachers have in the necessary transition away from our fossil-fuel dependent economy? https://t.co/ZZcosPIJRq from @MovingParadigms #education #climatechange
Marasuchus lilloensis was a small dinosauriform of Late Triassic Argentina (Chañares Formation) not a dinosaur. The hypothetical crest I used in this reconstruction is meant to be made of some sort of quill-like structures homologous to dinosaur filaments #paleoart #FossilFriday
For #FossilFriday, here is the skull of the #extinct woolly rhinoceros Coelodonta antiquitatis, freshly 3D scanned from @UniversiteLiege fossil collections!
For this #FossilFriday My reconstructions of small ornithischians, particularly relatively early taxa, show them as very fluffy animals. Actually after my recent conversations with @Dave_Hone some have gotten even fluffier! #paleoart #sciart #dinosaurs
My first attempt at a fossil reconstruction! #FossilFriday

For #FossilFriday, here's #paleoart of uberfamous pterosaur Pteranodon on a rock. The depicted species is Pteranodon longiceps under the generally accepted scheme of Pteranodon nomenclature, but others would class this as Pteranodon sp. 1/n
New blog post, new #paleoart, all about those terrific giant fossil avians, the pelagornithids. I can't believe it's taken me this long to cover them at the blog, but there you go. The animal in the image here is Pelagornis chilensis. https://t.co/1PBWmxOyyX
Since fossils don't preserve soft tissue, it's hard to tell what dinosaurs might have looked like. Many artists just leave off possible feathers, quills and skin flaps. If we drew modern animals this way, baboons might look like this. @qikipedia
