While this all sounds quite wholesome, Mujintou Monogatari still has some adult elements that remind you "this sure was a mid-'90s J-PC game".
The game has drinking parties, a couple nude scenes, & criticism of the Imperial Japanese Army's dealings with indigenous peoples. Huh.
Some might recognize this game thanks to its later 1996 port for Super Famicom. Any PC-X8 game in the mid-'90s getting a console port would have already done very well at home, & it's no surprise that this game spawned a good few sequels. For now, I'm just covering the first one!

@AdventureNoises YEAH! Actually! I'm finishing up a kid's book called "Sell Me a Story", these few pages, I'm going to add some scales in the midtones of the dragon and create wood planks for this boat.
