The game takes place on the planet ZDR, which is either a Chozo home planet or a planet explored by them like SR388.
It seems like the "Warlike Splinter Group" teased in Metroid: Samus Returns' Chozo Memories is still active on this planet...

Hell, even Samus Returns looks kinda empty, now that I look back at it.
This is a natural change, of course, and it's not inherently bad. Both Hollow Knight and Ori feature tiny characters in a huge world, and I love those games

OK, so I know that this is pretty minor in the grand scheme of things, but this boxart is incredible.

Samus' pose. The background. The colors. The atmosphere. Everything about it tells me what kind of game Metroid Dread is. I don't usually gush over boxart but this looks amazing

So I know nothing about Metroid but a few years ago I drew this because I couldn't nail the normal colors of Samus. Am I visionary? Or did I get inspired by other existing color schemes and just didn't remember?
