Animation means a lot to me, so it rly upsets me when people just see it as kids stuff/a “genre” instead of just another medium for storytelling.

Animation can entertain/resonate with anyone regardless of age

Watched Vinland Saga in 2019 and loved it and decided to hit the manga in 2020. Great characters, amazing setting, and beautiful storytelling. Art is gorgeous and the arcs are awesome! Vinland Saga is just a marvel to behold.

It’s far from the perception the public gives it-it has captivating storytelling, it’s packed with a lot of emotion and conjures up so much imagination you can only achieve in this form. It’s a medium and the mainstream should not see it otherwise.

Was honestly such a fun journey accompanied by some of the highest peaks I’ve seen. Incredible storytelling & lovely portrayal of the value of community & people in our lives. Has my favourite chapter in manga & maybe my favourite episode too. Can’t wait for the movie

I'll always firmly assert that animation is *not* a genre. Just like live action, it's an art medium used for storytelling. You can have a comedic animation, or a dramatic animation... but you can't have an animated animation. That's just silly... and redundant.
