This isn't to say that illustrations must be minimalist, but even this absurdly maximalist design focuses around a central symbol in the movie: a donut. And it works

Mona's design caught my eye at first glance. I liked it so much that I quickly drew her in my own style. I guess I'll have to check out her character sheet to know more about her backstory.
