Dinotober day 22: Masiakasaurus!
Lookit that damn mouth on this guy.
More Zilla 98 revamps from 2014-2015. Baragon as a mutated frilled lizard, Anguirus as a red-eyed crocodile skink, and Gorosaurus as a collared lizard.
Last batch of pointy teeth unearthed lizards! I left most of the carnivores for the end for some reason. I was dishing out one skeleton per hour last week I almost killed my wrist.
Spinosaurus Aegyptiacus
Velociraptor Mongoliensis
Mosasaurus Hoffmanii
Carnotaurus Sastrei

Sometimes you can't help but want to draw a big theropod. Every Paleoartist does at some point. This time I bring you a very speculative reconstruction of the enigmatic and very large North African theropod Bahariasaurus as a large basal Coelurosaurian.
My #Drepanomania entry is based around Hypuronector descendants rather than Drepanosaurus ones, in a timeline where pterosaurs didn't succeed. #sciart
More fossilized big boys for the day! I ended up realizing it's very easy to draw skeletons, you just need to attach a bunch of symmetrical shapes to a spine. Here's today's list!
Tyrannosaurus Rex
Bachiosaurus Brancai
Mammuthus Primigenius
Triceratops Prorsus
A pair of Paleoart reconstructions: Telmasaurus and Squalodon.
Telmasaurus was a medium sized basal Varanoid (a stem-Monitor lizard if you will) from the Late Cretaceous Flaming Cliffs of Mongolia. Squalodon is a macropredatory Platanistoid whale from the Oligocene and Miocene.
@laudrawin Oh gods... i think i was a fan of the ankylosaurus or minmi
@VasileVlad13 @vermbraunt That's not a theory, that's a joke gone way out of hand. The "humped" Dinosaurs have debunked. Being reptiles their skin would've been close to their bones. Just look at the chameleon. With what we know, Spinosaurus was a sailfish-croc-ibis. https://t.co/yk4AZ9fyQV
