They are green, and therefor they are friends.

I edited both their designs slightly (notably the noses) just so they fit more with their species! Cecilia is Roy's 3rd islander, and Lance is probably his 4th!

I absolutely love these dinosaur paintings Roy Andersen did for the Aug. 1978 issue of National Geographic. The dinosaurs themselves are no longer accurate, but they’re rendered with such depth and energy. Plus, the color palette for each of them are so striking and eerie.
