I got tired of Sapphire's Battle Tower kicking my butt so I went back to Fire Red to see what was left to be done there. They say Paras(ect) isn't very strong, but my good lad Recoome knows lots of useful HMs and helps me out in the Berry Forest just fine.

I really learned a ton about blending modes and masks in CSP working on this. It's all super useful! Guess it goes to show that watching youtube tutorials and trying new things can really help you improve!

2011/12 - still really getting used to art software. Did not understand how to make bigger canvases with higher dpi :3

Current: Have so much better understanding the usefulness of masks, selection tools, and airbrushes for blending. Also Reference.

Hmm... after messing with this drawing app, I deduce it’s best use will be drafts and CST layouts.
The fill and color option is bad all while it does offer a plethora of useful tools, but it’s fill option leaves so many white dots which are unnecessary and time consuming.😓

Sketchbooks are so useful for planning out larger, more time consuming artworks. I just finished this one and I already know that I want the background to be much darker. At least I filled a page in my book, yay!
