It rules so hard, it's not Nolans take at all. It moves like an old narrative adventure game not a AAA action title, with real plot and location progression moving us thru gotham, clues to chew on, a relaxed pace, Gordon as the talky NPC, Bruce as the stiff largely silent player.
Payback is so fcking good. I’ve only tried to read it because of its beautiful art style but dAMN, the characters, the PLOT, the pacing, I love it. They don’t focus on s*x, but on unraveling the story little by little. I just love that every update made me want more 😭♥️ #Payback

I really do love bleach, but damn Kubo really introduced some crazy concepts and then proceeded to poorly/half explain them.

I found some concept art from a canceled Disney Animation film called Catfish Bend. Not much is known about the plot besides that it would've focused on swamp animals living along the banks of the Mississippi River. The art was done by Walt Peregoy, Ken Anderson, and Mel Shaw.
@RBlueberg those roles go to Lemmy, Hector and Jayt in a kinda way (Jayt maybe more of a deuteragonist? but still quite important)
Dayley is a bit more of a protag/villain, heavy emphasis on making him a villain throughout the plot
