I really think Little Cato joining the Burner Tribe is something that could have been a whole entire arc rather than just a one-episode deal.
Even after the S1 I'd been expecting that Little Cato would eventually break off from the group to do his own thing.

Well, since we haven't seen Little Catos Mom in (?) So I have designed a Mother for him. Her name is Spectra and she is a space pirate.
I wanted her to look more like little Cato, because Avocato has much darker fur then his son.
