Rewatched Evangelion 3.33 for the first time in many years. Still the worst story in the whole of the Eva franchise. I really, really wish I could like it. But it just does nothing for me when this baffling 14 year timeskip changes everything & we get no real answers for that.

Speaking of Capsule Monsters, Ultraseven's Capsule Kaiju was one of the main inspirations for the Pokemon franchise. Many of the Pokemon in the games are references and homage to a few Ultra Kaiju, or the Ultramen themselves.
