My hopes of a new Jak and Daxter died there. Days Gone kept pushing the idea of gritty narrative games. Uncharted 4 kept the interest on realistic looking games over quirkier, fun adventures with wacky characters.
I've had a PS4 for years. Only played about 5 hours of Dreams.

Also, The Dark Knight Returns, and Watchmen are considered game changers in history, sparking a more gruesome, gritty and violent trend in comics that seems to have missed the point of the original work.

And the final products, after layering a lot of flats, shading, highlights, and other details in CSP. Doing it this way gives me a feeling of extra control over my lineart! But it can have a slightly gritty end-feel.

Just some of my artwork. Some more recent than others. I really like this new gritty looking linework I'm using.

Many know that "Rockman Zero" is my favorite game of all-time. But, it actually not only due to gameplay & being a beta tester.

One of the BIG things that made me a fan of it is the art-direction & style, with how it enhances the story. It's darker and gritty, yet still hopeful.

Show the books that hooked you on comics (best of all time edition!)

Batman & Robin ignited my love for superhero comics. Daredevil showed me how gritty stories could work. Saga showed me cool comics existed outside the big 2. Commander Rao inspired me to make one, too ^^

always wants to do the right thing, but he’s no pushover. i love this show & the whole cast bc they’re gritty, authentic, resourceful, and even tho the struggle is nonstop, they know how to get what they want. Lip is no exception.
