God I remember being in late high school/college and seeing this and I’ve followed him since. I used to try and emulate his style I was obsessed with it.

Sister Location sprites imply that he loses teeth from the rot. Pupils turn supernaturally white making him appear more "possessed" and zombie looking. His pecs are due to Ennard trying to Emulate them crudely as seen in his model. I kept them more natural looking for realism.

@RBlueberg I have to say with Mega Guardian it's the fact he's not a Pinocchio. He's not like Vision, Red Tornado, or other robots that wish to emulate human emotions and feelings, he is pure, cold, hard logic. Never expect him to risk success on a low percentage.
Shinkawa seems to have this habit of using duplicated and resized lineart as this subtle additional shading or background. Sometimes it is so subtle that you can't even really tell.

Hell, you want a good example? All of the MegaMan collections. These are some of the easiest to emulate games around and yet THEY STILL SOLD WELL! People want the convenience factor and presentation, they will buy it even if they can get it for free!
@truthblade01 Though perhaps taking more reference could of helped a bit. Stuff like Wammu's attack here are perfect references for a spinning wind attack. Or perhaps trying to emulate Leo's own golden slash VFX could of worked well too.
