True. Certain expressions (eg. below Heroes/Rivals), will move the cheek around, so it's inevitable. I don't dislike it inherently, it's just an aspect of being expressive. What I'm iffy on is when it's there in relatively neutral expressions (eg. below Riders/BK).

I'm afraid this show may not have received the attention it deserved. The manga being Kozue Amano's next work after Aria, fans of said franchise may have been put off by its more conventional SoL structure and themes, ignoring its inherent qualities.

I'm not sure how to word it, but to me it felt like the designs became... Exaggerated? Which isnt INHERENTLY bad, simple designs can be good (especially for animation).
Season 1 wasn't really "consistent" but it's look and feeling still feels more focused and interesting 2 me.
