Legends designs were badass, and gen 9 are just regular uniform kid designs. It looks like the first trainer you would encounter in the first route or something. It doesn't scream "protagonist" to me at all.
Mainline game designs need to step up.
@Ahabs_Mind @sega_cd Kaneko art is definitely unique but Miwa is better with action and high energy compared to all previous Megaten artist and assuming he will become the mainline artist for Devil Summoner going onward Id say hes a fine choice.
But at the moment, I think there's a good reason why we haven't seen Cass being overly symbol happy. Let Jace have this time and moment. Just that eventually or another story outside the mainline would be fascinating to see Cass as Batman cause damn would that story be good.
As for Cass being Batman. I still fully say that it should eventually happen. Not currently, but eventually. it doesn't even have to be in the mainline, but an alternate future or world. It kind of would be fascinating to see the character of Cass approach being Batman.
If I could pick a character from outside continuity to bring into the mainline Superman’s gigantic iron brother would be a top contender
We have yet to receive old ladies as party members in the Dragon Quest mainline series as opposed to old men.

Thinking about It After Kuru is done, the next mainline story content as much as i'm not a fan of NetflixKOTZ should be a reboot. Better than the mainline story being like one of those fanfics or shows that go on and on and on and on...

i'll go over this again, or at least nitpick and redo segments of lines. but i am already seeing this taking place and i do like it. not as busy and cluttered when focus is more towards the thicker outlines while the thinner inlines get to have the small details.
