Because @cleric4life87 for life and I were talking developing characters and were talking about all the iterations Dahlia went through, it's interesting looking back at the initial concept art from March 2021 compared to actual character art in Jan 2022.

this took so many iterations to figure out but finally i was able to nail a painting with every aspect of it working as a symbol towards the expression of her character. tough fun is what i felt working on this.
Here was a character concept for my game idea, a kind of wise temple elder who was a master of combat. This is a redraw of the previous iterations and it's a bit better! Different proportions.

bonus funny: canonically they exist in the "fellaverse" me and corrie have, meaning they Exist in the same world as liliko noodle ruby etc.... heck corrie even made a map years ago (for an older iteration of the game) that was of a playplace in a liliko-run fast food place LOL
I was a little disappointed by the Paldea starters' final forms so i did a quick iteration on all of them #ScarletViolet
