Worked this weekend on making a "paper doll" of Sophya so I can figure out the layering of her outfits. This is her level 1-3 design, and I'm hoping to finish her new level 4 armor this week :3

Layering is important. I’ve used up to 30 layers before, this one has 7 or 8. I love scrubbing out to reveal layer below. I think in layers, plates or screens - because I have a 30 years in print.

Yeah the brushes are really convincing! It depends on how you use it too, I tried hard to layer it like actual watercolors. My older drawing where I only had a very basic brush looks somewhat convincing bc of the layering, but you could never achieve edges or gradients like this.
