I agree and I see many signs in the manga and anime that I believe are hints to suggest that they won’t end up together. It’s just too much sweetness to me, and in MANY anime’s the canon ships are almost always characters with opposite personalities. It’s to show balance.

Three of my favorites are these lil' monsters. 30 (left), 60 (middle) and 90(right) are beings formed from the hell hound Cerberus. They all have extra mouths and varying personalities. It's uncertain why they turned out to be such cute girls. But hell knows they're vicious.
