Our Art Scholars have been using the etching press to produce these incredible pieces as part of their printmaking sessions. Once they selected a still life object they scratched the image onto the surface as part of the drypoint etching process. #art #printmaking #etching

In 1832 Lasinio did his colour drawings for the start of the etching process. Using the drawings - lines were scratched or etched onto a metal plate which could then be used to print many copies.
At the end of week 2 cone cat apparently learned how to open the dog collar since I found it and the cone lying on the floor....Of course he scratched his ear open again. It is much better, but I he has to wear that thing till it's completely healed as it seems.
