Another Queen Amidala costume design done. Different from my usual dark dresses I’ve made. This flowy light translucent gown I like to think she would have worn during the Naboo festival of light. The headpiece is inspired by a comb that came with an actual Amidala doll I have!

The saturated blush color is important in making skin look less plastic- it shows it's translucent with blood underneath. Blush should be in flushed areas where blood is more visible (cheeks, chest, ears, shoulder), as well as in between the shadows and highlights in direct light

HOW TO PUT SEQUINS ON HOT BOY
Step 1: draw translucent dress. This was done by filling the shape of the dress in with a solid color and then brushing away certain points using a transparent watercolor brush as a sort of eraser. You can see with/without skin layer.
Got a new print in development, at last! Gonna have to expand my stash of translucent orange. 8)
