Here's my Final Gril, Jamie. Colored her in some heavy Dario Argento style colors. Heavy saturation, dramatic lighting, all that gucci stuff.

The next few alpacomics were done with colored pencils. I like the amount of control you have with them. However, it takes a long time to color everything evenly, so I eventually sacrificed the control of colored pencils and converted to the chaos of watercolors.

This is the very first drawing of Sori in which I tried to decide her colors.
The purple hair was already on my mind, but later I changed her shirt, belt and eyes color.
Seeing this old drawings makes me feel weird about what she ended doing... but hey, at least I revived her!

Once I used only moderate colors in my art, I studied painting in art college and there was restrictions agaist vivid and pure colors. It took some years to be confident with brights pinks, orange or even wild color dodge =)
