Perusing the listings, I'm struck by how housing in the second or third tier of cool cities (e.g. Nashville) really isn't *that* much cheaper than the first tier (e.g. Los Angeles) anymore. If you can afford upscale housing in the former, you can live midscale in the latter. 🤔
