Finally came up with a definitive damage formula. inspired by Guilty Gear, each character/enemy has something like Guts, called Fortitude. this factors into how much damage they'll take. overall it's all simplified from what I had going before.
Healing does not mean the damage never existed. It means the damage no longer controls our lives.

Rin has some seriously badass moments in the Fate franchise but for me probably the coolest of them was her taking one of Hercules’s lives. Given how tough it is for normal servants to damage him I think this feat by Rin is super impressive especially considering her age.
