So i tried drawing a matcap and honestly it looks pretty nice, it's like if you ripped the shine directly off of my art and put it on a model! Left is just the matcap with toon shading, but right has realistic lighting plus matcap, I just thought it looked really interesting.
I normally don't post directly on Twitter, but despite my initial hope for the New Year, 2023 has had a rough start because of Covid and financial fraud. If friends on #FFXIV see this and share their lovely WOLS, me and Simalre would have a better day indeed. :)
