Bloodscales (the red species of dragon I made that I keep drawing) have really really stretchy lips that allow a big range of emotions, and extreme snarls when theyre angry. They have small teeth across their beaks to help tear apart prey.
I am so sorry, I cant think of a good title today. :')
This was a commission for Dravere of his dragon with a traffic cone.
I realy like is "simple oldschool" design and had a lot of fun with this scales. :)
Its A3 in size and done in krita.
New texture study, a pine cone 😃 I learned that the scales spiral more than lap as snake scales, and they really reflect sky colors more than I thought they would #texturestudy #pinecone #digitalart #ipadpro #procreateapp

The scales have fallen from the eyes of the sleeping beast for she will rest no longer. From deep within her sulphurous lair, the #dragon watches a world burning before her as the innocents are swathed in hell fire. 🔥
