In my research journals for my MA I've had a tendency to draw a mini-me who talks about what it is I am looking into. Because I'm discussing Greek mythology and specifically Persephone AND its a Games MA I thought it only fitting to make myself look like a character from Hades.

I think that's shading on her mouth, but at a glance, it kind of looks to me like Gwen's wearing black lipstick. This artwork makes the idea of Gwen wearing black or maybe blue lipstick feel somehow fitting. Maybe b/c it contrasts well with her hair color.
