This is gonna be embarrassing. I've had Phoe as a character for a long-ass time, and what better way to show how my style has developed. It's a lot of work, pain, doubt, and sometimes you don't notice improvements, but you keep going. 2011 > 2016 > 2019 > 2022
2016 - 2022 #SkillNotTalent
An older Corrin drawing with a more recent one!
i see #skillnottalent trending, ive been preaching that since college. art is a skill. you cant magically become an artist. the fun in art is the journey to be skilled in it :)
anyways here are my examples
2016 - 2020 lol.
plus my ocs's personal art journey. keep on drawing!
This is so true, just look at my poopy old art 👁👄👁 what a glow up!

last but not least, the idle sprite I created for the unreleased Rudra game (2016). Of course I ended up changing her design AGAIN after.
2016-2022
Ouch my old art from the first year of animation school. We always learn and improve day by day 🔥

this is a sort or semi-redraw of my 2016 scenery concept ~
I really love my sceneries from 2016 so I want to refresh some of them by fitting Isay’s design to it’s current look xD💦
those ‘rocks’ btw - is what is left of Isay’s village (right corner one)
2016 vs 2022 - there is no way to get better “naturally” by drawing without the desire to learn, only by studying and continuing to challenge myself am i able to draw the way i do now #skillnottalent
2016 vs 2022
it might not look like much. but it's a lot for me <3

My first drawing tablet was this fanart of Zacharie from one of my favorite games of all time, OOF by @MortisGhost ! I'm so happy how this drawing turned out and how much I improved during those years😊
2016 > 2022
can you believe that my main ocs used to be furries?? 🤪
