It changes sometimes, but I usually plan what to draw, make a really rough sketch, refine the sketch, line art, bace color, shading, background, then I mess with the colors and fix any mistakes. Then I usually export the drawing so that I can render it, and add my watermark :)

I essentially never draw, so I practice color, optics, and (very slowly) the addition of texture using illustrations provided by various talents.
I've still got a ways to go, so tips and RTs are appreciated.
