SHL being super duper wuxia. But also amazingly gorgeous. Scenes are beautifully composed & shot. All the clips of recent 'wuxia' is so ugly & shit by comparison.

I actually didn't notice that! I made different variations because I didn't know if I wanted to settle on shading or not so it looks like I used the wrong version - this would be the actual final version of the last comparison:

Here's a quick trick that I use to make colours look a bit nicer! I add a new layer, set it to hard light and at 30% opacity, and colour over it with the image colour that fits the character!

this is the one! ok so in comparison sumeru looks tiny, yes? so, if it did end up this small, do you think it would compensate in story? considering it's the land of wisdom and knowledge and yadda yadda- you'd think it should have A LOT of story stuff, right? imo

For the prompt is draw your comic in a different genre. Ilworld is a dark fantasy so I drew it as a slice of life romance lol. Picture on right is for comparison. I tried to make Rahab look a bit less scary in the Shojo version. 😆
