A little golden boi for April. :) such a fun sketch.
I still remember autism speaks scary ads from 2009(?) They actually terrified me as a kid. So, why not light it up gold instead of blue?

It's Autism Awareness Month. Awareness is only step one, and acceptance isn't where we stop. There have been so many things that autistic people can and have added to society. Autism needs to stop being seen as pitiful, but instead appreciated. We are autistic! We are awesome!

These are paintings over the last week. They are all half finished because painting is the last thing on my mind at the moment. Stay safe all

My mind is a cavalcade of random information, most of which will never help me in day to day life.

I highly recommend this game for families who have children who have Autism in their family. Its also great to understand friends who may have ASD.

And what amazing timing for World Autism Awareness Day 2nd April.

Love you Steff and Max for creating this game. https://t.co/VI60wX4z1j

I’ve been teasing about our upcoming comic featuring a super hero with autism, but I haven’t yet announced the title. Well guess what, this will happen this weekend when I finally reveal the comic cover. Here is an art sample from the comic

3) There are many people with autism, dyslexia, dyspraxia, tourette's syndrome, ADHD... but many of us don't see these neuro-differences as something that "has to be cured", we see them as part of ourselves. & with the challenges, also come our superpowers & unique qualities.

A disconnect between parents’ expectations and the child’s abilities, interests, and idiosyncrasies can have dire consequences.

What consequences did not meeting your parents’ expectations have for you?

It's amazing what people will say about autism when they don't think any autistic people are around, but when they're called out by an autistic person they'll try to back pedal so fast they could win the Tour de France in reverse and still fail at justifying their words.

Making others laugh is precious. did so with the other day when advising me "not 2bite the Doc" I was abt 2see (knowing my dislike of seeing them. No offense, its just not all were nice).
