I use concave eyes 90% of the time! However i do deform them to appear less flat and paper like on alot of models. I then rig them in such a way that they still have the same sort of rotation as a sphere. Also leave good space for the eye socket!

Its crazy how closely the models are to the artwork. I dont think Ive ever seen 3D modelling this similar to the concept art before
