Persona 5 Royal added quite a bit more to the original, giving new art, gameplay, and story. The gameplay improvements made things more interesting and fun (not Okumura). The new term was amazing in terms of story, and the dungeon was fun to go through.

The biggest personal surprise of 2021 was finding myself drawing again, after sort of giving up on it almost a decade ago. Getting an iPad was the biggest push, but friends gave some valuable tips that went miles in terms of letting me do stuff I wouldn’t think I could do before

This year had a lot of peaks and valleys in my life, but in terms of art I felt like I started surprising myself in more than a few ways. I’m really hoping to keep pushing myself for next year and the foreseeable future after that.
