I experimented with a different method to make the shadows. Some muscles and parts of the body seems more detailed, but I have to be careful when drawing.

Hair takes me the longest hours too especially during rendering it. But I think it depends on your style I don't really put too much details on hair especially the strands. I don't usually do hair strands and only do the shadows and highlights that looks like this
