In the wake of Mia Ikumi's passing a lot of artists are sharing how she had influenced them. I think one interesting thing to point out is how her series spawned tons of fan made anime under the tmm premise, its something I don't think i've seen any other series have
Mia Ikumi's work has been an influence in my art for over a decade. She inspired a generation of anime (and animal) lovers across the globe. I wish she had been able to see it completed, but I'm sure her impact will only continue to grow with the upcoming reboot. Rest in Peace ❤️
