I experimented with these 8x8 pixel tiles a while back. Meant to be sort of an overworld with smaller scale characters/buildings (hence the trees are fairly small). Never decided to use them for anything.

Agreed. I took one art class and felt like I didn’t learn anything. Observed my favorite animations and artists and tried to replicate/add my own spin on that style and I improved my skills and made them my own.
