knuckles gets pissed off when sonic shifts his attention from him/their clash in sonic x jp upon seeing eggman, because he wants to be taken seriously, since sonic had acted pretty nonchalant during their battle.

it's interesting how sonic x jp shows how far knuckles' stubbornness can go very early on but it's also important to mention that when the guy has something to do, something to PROTECT, he will do it. no matter what. and sonic knows that. he doesn't doubt nor judge him for it :]
