Soft gradient/loose painterly coloring

Right: Hard, textured lines, minimal line weight variation
Minimal gradient shading + cel shade with watercolor fringe for that slight edge

Ya know it took me a couple days to notice but this illustration is another example of mewtwo's tail coloring being a gradient of purple around on the base and tip and not a solid purple like later depictions.

attempt at designing DJSS' mom. very large space being. the cross hatching is just where there would be a black gradient on the fabric. the bottom of her dress is sheer and you'd see her legs. her hair is like ever changing flowing nebula space dust/clouds. a sun inside the orb.
