Finding new ways to visualize two characters standing around talking is one of the more fun aspects of making a comic. Here's one panel from Stump where I decided to contrast the static, flat angle with some dramatic lighting. Presented with and without word balloons.

I began applying line to the mash up of reds blues and magentas Mapping out the silhouettes helped me create new shapes where I could expand on contrasting and complimentary colour schemes 🔴🟠🟡🟢🔵🟣
