I have this issue and can verify that it’s definitely not streamline settings. I have an iPad Pro 12.9 (2017) and an iPad mini 2019 and the issue is prevailing on both. There’s also a linked issue with quicklime not appearing properly when drawing within a selection.

!!! went rogue with watercolor early '19 and started doing digital regularly in the midst of this year!! did a lot of experiments with color palletes and brush settings. backgrounds are still my enemies tho
