wanted to compare my art from the start of art school to now as graduation approaches this was the orig from 2019
Compare this to the classic Disney solution of having the little character sit on the big one to get them closer together. Not to say one approach is better, but it's emblematic of how anime has more emphasis on framing & western animation focuses more on character action.

Been having fun making these quick images/reviews. I've been approaching them however I feel like making them at the moment. Free to make mistakes and to just play with the ideas. Here's a closer look outside of the borders they're usually presented in.

The main player was much uglier , and the original idea was that he used his ball and chain as part of the combo.
I wanted to give her a cold aura, despite her being the winter queen I gave her a more approachable and warm aura.
This comes from a sketchbook where I was doing 13 or so #halloweentheme drawings.
