The Emperor Bulblax has two sizes. One about the size of an average Grub-dog (Pikmin 2), the other being much much larger (Pikmin/Hey!). The reason could be that 2’s Emperors are still young, while the larger ones are fully grown. This is supported by 2’s having less moss on it.
