left is the hand-written name signature, right is the symbol signature (a crown floating above the head). idk it just makes it look a little bit sexier imho.

Yup. AGA was already a compromised upgrade. IMHO it needed better sound, and faster ChipRAM and a chunky 256 colour mode would have vastly expanded its capabilities. Heck, a High-Density Floppy Drive.. better (or any?) CD-ROM support.. There was so much that could have been done.

It's probably good that it died when it did. We can enjoy the brilliant ECS and AGA stuff that happened, without having to look at further unsatisfactory attempts at evolving it into something that would inevitably be mediocre, due to rather questionable management. (all IMHO) 😁

All three are really fun games IMHO. It's worth reading the instructions too, as each one has quite a back-story. 🤔 I could only get Fractalus to work with the SuperCPU (in VICE). Koronis would turn too fast to be controllable, and I couldn't get The Eidolon to load at all. 😐

Oh yeah.. That is totally Pogo Joe.
I love that game. With many arcade games we wish the C64 could have just a passable version. But this is like Q*Bert, only much much better. (IMHO of course.) And has gorgeous cartoon-y sprites. 👍

I really loved the Pinball Dream/Fantasies/Illusions games on the old Amiga — and Slam Tilt too, of course. 😁 Illusions got the physics of the ball about right, IMHO, and a bit of animation on the bumpers together with a full AGA colour palette made everything feel more real. 👍

since the chargers finally breaking out the navy thought id share this one again.

listen, the powder blues are perfect. may be my favorite in all of sports. but the navy is nice too. chargers always look good imho
