I remember always seeing it at the video store as a kid & never being able to rent it because it was ALWAYS out! I finally saw it in 2000. Have ALWAYS been a fan. Thought it was time to revisit! (1977)🧙‍♂️

Haruo Sotozaki’s DEMON SLAYER - KIMETSU NO YAIBA - THE MOVIE: MUGEN TRAIN. There aren’t many films I would do 624 minutes of homework for but this franchise got its claws in me & now I’m so pumped for this new Japanese box office record breaker 🙌

Akiyuki Shinbô’s FIREWORKS, SHOULD WE SEE IT FROM THE SIDE OR THE BOTTOM? This is an anime adaptation of a live action short from legend Shunji Iwai in ‘93. It looks a bit like a rushed reaction to YOUR NAME’s success but I’m interested to check it out

Takeshi Koike’s REDLINE. So many of my favourite folk recommended this one to me for so I’m really excited to check it out. Koike’s art style is so unique & supposedly this film is a brain-meltingly slick & stylised extravaganza!!!
