@DevinElleKurtz This artwork was a huge study for me. Not only I pushed my technique far up by trying new brushes or effects on light and shadows, but also a lot of observation from real life and classic paintings.
I also get further into composition and symbolism
My biggest work from this year

GM! Closeup of the crystal ball in my recent oil painting. It holds a reflection of the still life & my studio; my world. The light is the source which gives life to all my paintings. My easel & I are within the shadows. As your eyes try to adjust, you might catch a glimpse 🔮👀

Doll Planetarium No.1
This is a new series of commission watercolor paintings. My clients provide a favorite photo of the doll that means the most to them. I create portrait paintings for these dolls to record the precious emotional connection between the doll owners and them.

Sketch inspired by #ArtForCaedmon: "Untitled (Woman and Dog)"
In this sketch I wanted to depict the woman in the pose she always seemed to have, the dog, and to evoke a sense of connection between her and the animals she depicted in her paintings.
