Love these two illustrations by Edmund Dulac and Dugald Stewart Walker for one of Andersen's fairy tales. 🧡🍂
'This is the story of Waldemar Daa and his daughters. Tell it better yourselves, if you can,' said the wind, as it veered round. Then it was gone.'
Also have some actual Bird ocs for Ducktales. Omar, an explorer and captain of a small ship. And Captain Valentino, A vampire captain without a ship.
They both work together to explore the world, hunt for treasure, and finally defeat Yellow Beak, The Skeleton Pirate
IN SOMNIO from @TenebrousPress is an incredible collection of Gothic tales. I love how many different takes on the genre there are here. Faves are "The Blight of Black Creek" by @MaryRajotte and "Always An After" by @APHowell. Highly recommend picking this one up!!
