I always wanted to do a “step by step” art post - so here’s one of my boi, Rascal, made during my velocity lab

Wanted to try & develop a more comic style as well for my upcoming story - what do you think?

...Ya’ll know I’m making a comic right?

Work has been gross, but I was determined to finish some (late) art! Been thinking a lot about and how much of a blast it was. This was the first time I could watch a event, and I wanted to do a lil tribute to their awesome mascot, Velocity <3

I think Velocity is a little too early for Halloween... Great job on the under estimate Silent Hill Homecoming run!!

Finally sat down and finished this! It's the mascot! I drew up the sketches for them back during the last marathon and have been itching to clean up the drawing for a while now.

The razor bill dragon is basically puffin’s more menacing cousin. It has adapted to the harsh life at stormy seas, using winds to gain velocity and plunge down into the ocean to impale its prey.
