Before Andy Warhol became the icon he is today, he illustrated some Children's books in the 50s including 'The Little Red Hen'. Although not similar to his works now, the scenes are filled with bright colours, animals and a little red hen!

When we think about 1900’s European painting, we mostly imagine impressionism. Although at the same time there were many styles and trends, impressionism was far from dominant. I bought this Royal Academy 2000 exhibition catalog at a local book fair for just £4!#WorldBookDay2020
