Yahwi has been doing everything Jooin wanted—loving him dearly in his own ways, in ways that he knows. Jooin just doesn’t realize it.
Yahwi never looked down on Jooin. Jooin hates being pitied. And when Pil said “poor Jooin”, Yahwi snapped back at him.
Yahwi has always been genuine with his intentions.

Yahwi giving Jooin money doesn’t have any ill intentions in any way. That is just his way of showing care because that’s ALL he knows. Based on his experience, people use him for money so he wanted to be useful to Jooin as well by giving him money to buy meals and taxi fare.
Yahwi genuinely thought that Jooin wanted him. How would he know that it’s not the case? He cannot read minds. And he received a text from Jooin to forget everything so he thought that Jooin just wanted to move on.
But Yahwi has always found him cute ever since they were little up until now.
Years later, they met again in a university. Yahwi asked Jooin to be by his side to keep people away from him, but the truth is he did that to be close to Jooin. And he was trying to figure out whether or not Jooin still remembers him.
They promised each other that they will meet again when they grow up and that they will never forget each other, and so Yahwi did—he never forgot Jooin.
Yahwi was still traumatized by the kiss so when Jooin tried to kiss him, he pushed him away.
Little Yahwi met little Jooin. Yahwi doesn’t have any friends and his parents just died. It was his first time meeting someone being kind to him. Jooin’s small act of kindness had left such a big impact on him.
Yahwi was raised in a toxic environment where showing emotions is not allowed and to always be wary of people, in order words, to live as if you’re not human.
This scarred Yahwi for life. He was orphaned at such a young age but instead of proper grieving to process his emotions, his grandfather told him not to trust people, and so he was raised like a robot.
When Yahwi was little, his mother read him a story about Snow White and when Snow White died, the prince kissed her on the lips and she woke up. Later, his parents died. Seeing his unconscious mother, little Yahwi kissed her hoping she will wake up too… but she didn’t.
Jooin believes that Yahwi never loved him and that his love is unrequited. And then there’s Cain who is always “good” to him like he is too good to be true. Not accepting his love feels wrong because he is good and kind to you.
Cain had the audacity to say that Yahwi’s give is expensive after literally bringing Jooin to an expensive restaurant. He even gave a manipulative suggestion to Jooin that he hopes it didn’t soften him.
When Yahwi came, Jooin wanted to explain the situation to Yahwi so that he won’t get the wrong idea but Cain yet again meddled.
Cain literally has done nothing but invade Jooin’s privacy, mess with his relationship with Yahwi, impose his feelings on him, and be a dirty parasite in his apartment.
What Yahwi said here totally makes sense! You shouldn’t trust anyone easily, you have to know their intentions first. Cain’s expression changed again. He is a two-faced person. He acts stupid in front of Jooin, even speaking in third person, but opposite when Jooin’s not around.
