I'd like to shine a spotlight on Xenoblade 1's environments as well, given that it stands as my 2nd favorite setting behind Alrest itself.

Just as with XC2, the majesty and creativity of Bionis/Mechonis is without end. It's very rare to find this level of uniqueness in a world.

One of the most appealing things about Torna, beyond story/characters, has to be its place in what is essentially Alrest's Age of Antiquity.

I feel that it enriches the world, makes it feel more alive and intriguing. It's a window into the distant past that isn't often provided.
